Atlanta, GA (January 1, 2022) – An auto accident reported in Fulton County on Saturday morning ended in injuries. At around 4:45 a.m., on January 1, the police and firefighters were notified that they were needed to provide assistance at the scene of a crash on Interstate 85.
Crews rushed to the scene and immediately went to work on securing the southbound lanes. Traffic was delayed throughout the area of Georgia Route 400 due to the crash blocking three of the right lanes.
EMS rendered aid to injured victims at the scene. An unknown number of people were transported to area hospitals for further care.
