Austell, GA – Car Accident at Thornton Rd & Humphries Hill Rd

Austell, GA (September 15, 2021) – At 9:55 p.m. on the night of Tuesday, September 14, a car accident with injuries occurred in Austell.

According to Austell Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Thornton Road and Humphries Hill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time. The vehicles forcefully collided with each other. The accident led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured in the accident and taken to local hospitals for treatment. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The roadway was blocked in the area until police cleared the scene. This led to immense delays for some time.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
