Car Accidents in Georgia
Each year, hundreds of thousands of car accidents happen in the state of Georgia due to the outright careless acts of other drivers. Though these accidents take on many forms, head-on collisions are known for being some of the most catastrophic. In one recent year’s time in the U.S., over 2% of car accidents were deemed head-on collisions. Who is at fault for a head-on collision may not always be as obvious as it seems. This is why you want experts on your side who can prove that a head-on collision took place due to negligent acts. Some of the most common reasons for these accidents include the following reasons:
- Driver distractions
- Drunk or drugged driving
- Speeding
- Fatigued driving
It may seem impossible to handle the aftermath of a collision on your own, especially if you are working on your physical recovery. This is why it is essential that you speak with an attorney who has handled these claims in the past.
Many types of evidence might not be obvious right off the bat following a car accident. However, you should know that evidence is the leading way to prove that another party is liable for your accident. Because of this, having an attorney on your side can be incredibly beneficial. The insurance adjuster will take any lack of evidence as a way to try and lowball your settlement, offering less than you deserve. You should speak with a skilled Chickamauga car accident attorney who can help you every step of the way.
