Decatur, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Clifton Springs Rd & Flat Shoals Pkwy

Decatur, GA (September 14, 2021) – At 3:10 p.m. on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 14, a car crash with injuries occurred in Decatur.

According to DeKalb County officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Clifton Springs Road and Flat Shoals Parkway. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the intersection for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
