Johns Creek, GA – Car Crash with Injuries on Abbotts Bridge Rd

Johns Creek, GA (December 18, 2021) – At 6:40 p.m. on the evening of Friday, December 17, a car crash with injuries occurred in Johns Creek.

According to Johns Creek Police officials, the accident happened on Abbotts Bridge Road at the entrance to the Northview High School on Sweet Creek Road. A white pickup truck and at least one other vehicle were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not entirely known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the accident. The injured parties were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, a large portion of the roadway was blocked in the area for some time. Police urged those traveling to use Parsons Road and McGinnis Ferry Road as alternate routes.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident remains ongoing.
