Jonesboro, GA – I-75 & Tara Blvd Site of Multi-Vehicle Accident That Causes Injuries

Jonesboro, GA (October 31, 2021) – Around noon on Sunday, October 31, a car accident occurred on a highway in Jonesboro.

According to Atlanta Police officers, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-75 around the area of exit 235, Tara Boulevard. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when one or more lost control, causing the vehicles to collide with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries in the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, the roadway was blocked in the left lane for a period of time. This led to delays in the area.
