Kennesaw, GA – Car Crash with Injuries at Cobb Pkwy & Jim Owens Rd

Kennesaw, GA (September 15, 2021) – Before 6 a.m. on Wednesday morning, September 15, a car crash with injuries occurred at an intersection in Kennesaw.

According to Atlanta Police, the accident happened at the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Jim Owens Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection. The vehicles forcefully collided with each other. This led to extensive damages to the involved vehicles.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.

The right lane of traffic was blocked in the area for an extended period of time. Police urged those in the area to use an alternate route until the scene was cleared.

The investigation into the circumstances of the collision continues at this time.
