LaFayette, GA – Three-Vehicle Crash at GA-27 & GA-337 Intersection

LaFayette, GA (September 12, 2021) – At 6:15 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, September 11, a three-vehicle crash occurred at an intersection in LaFayette.

According to Walker County authorities, the accident happened at the intersection of GA-27 and GA-337 (Shattuck Industrial Boulevard). Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, causing them to collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked at the intersection for a period of time. A medical helicopter was also present at the scene.

The investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues at this time.
