Leesburg, GA – Three Injured in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Philema Rd

Leesburg, GA (November 24, 2021) – In the afternoon hours of Wednesday, November 24, a multi-vehicle crash with injuries occurred in Leesburg.

According to Lee County officials, the accident happened on Philema Road. Three vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other after one allegedly lost control. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene by tow trucks.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. A total of three people were hurt in the accident. One person, who has not yet been identified, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.

The roadway was blocked in the area of the accident for some time. Police quickly worked to clear the scene.
