Loganville, GA – Serious Collision at Loganville Hwy & Champion Way

Loganville, GA (January 10, 2022) – In the morning hours of Monday, January 10, a serious collision with injuries occurred at a Loganville intersection.

Gwinnett County Police confirmed that the accident happened at the intersection of Loganville Highway and Champion Way around 8 a.m. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area and collided after entering the intersection. One of the vehicles ended up in the median and another went off the side of the road where it overturned. The vehicles involved in the crash sustained severe damages.

Numerous responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were called to the scene to help those in need. Several victims had to be extricated from their vehicles and were taken to local hospitals for treatment. However, their current conditions are not yet known.

The roadway was blocked in southbound lanes at the intersection for a period of time as police worked on clearing the scene.
