Marietta, GA – Injury Accident at Cobb Pkwy & Windy Hill Rd

Marietta, GA (December 3, 2021) – At 6:31 a.m. on the morning of Friday, December 3, an injury accident occurred at an intersection in Marietta.

According to officials, the accident happened at the intersection of Cobb Parkway and Windy Hill Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, forcefully colliding with each other. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were injured as a result of the accident. The injured victims were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries, though their conditions are not yet known.

Due to the severity of the accident, all lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. Police urged those in the area to avoid the area and use Powers Ferry Road as an alternate route.
