Norcross, GA – Car Accident on I-85 Near Beaver Ruin Rd

Norcross, GA (September 14, 2021) – At 7:55 a.m. on the morning of Tuesday, September 14, a car accident occurred on a highway in Norcross.

According to local police, the accident happened in the northbound lanes of I-85 around the area of Beaver Ruin Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they suddenly collided with one another due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the collision were extensively damaged as a result.

Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims, who have not yet been identified, were taken to local hospitals for treatment of their injuries. Their conditions are not known at this time.

Three left lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.

No further details have been released but the investigation into the accident continues at this time.
