Powder Springs, GA – Injury Accident at Poplar Springs Rd & Moon Rd

Powder Springs, GA (December 30, 2021) – Around 7:28 p.m. on the evening of Thursday, December 30, an injury accident occurred at an intersection in Powder Springs.

Paulding County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene of the crash, which took place at the intersection of Poplar Spring Road and Moon Road. Two or more vehicles were traveling in the area when they entered the intersection at the same time, which caused the vehicles to forcefully collide with one another. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.

Responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained injuries as a result of the collision. The injured parties were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Police urged those in the area to avoid the area as they worked to fully clear the scene.
