Savannah, GA (November 30, 2021) – At 9 p.m. on Tuesday night, November 30, a serious car accident took place on a highway in Savannah.
According to Savannah Police, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of the Veterans Parkway. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided with each other due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were immediately dispatched to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident. The injured victims were hospitalized, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the accident, all southbound lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time.
No further details have been released but the investigation remains ongoing at this time.
