Stockbridge, GA (November 13, 2021) – At 5:03 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, November 13, a multi-vehicle collision occurred in Stockbridge.
According to Henry County officials, the accident happened in the southbound lanes of I-75 around the area of Hudson Bridge Road. Several vehicles were traveling in the area when they collided due to reasons that are not yet known. The vehicles involved in the accident were badly damaged as a result.
Paramedics, fire crews, and numerous other responders were called to the scene to help those in need. One or more victims were seriously injured in the accident. The injured victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment, though their conditions are not yet known.
Due to the severity of the crash, all lanes of traffic were blocked in the area for some time. This led to delays in the area until police cleared the scene.
No further details have been released. The investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
