Wilmington Island, GA – Motorcycle Accident with Injuries on Bull River Bridge

Wilmington Island, GA (January 2, 2022) – A motorcycle accident with injuries took place on Saturday, January 1 around noon on a local bridge.

According to the Chatham Police Department, the accident happened on the Bull River Bridge. A motorcyclist was traveling on the bridge when their motorcycle was suddenly struck by one or more passenger vehicles. The vehicles involved in the accident were extensively damaged as a result of the accident.

Emergency responders, including paramedics and fire crews, were dispatched to the scene to help those in need. The motorcyclist, who has not yet been identified, was hurt as a result of the accident. The injured party was taken to the hospital for treatment of their injuries.

The crash site was blocked in the area for an extended period of time as police worked to clear the scene.
